Dueling Guitars was my first full scale project as a designer at BluePrint. The design was meant to emulate old school rock music posters. I wanted to add some grunge to it with the shape of the guitars and the texture. I also wanted there to be a lot of contrast to emphasize the dueling part of the event.

Jazz & Poetry Night
The design for Jazz Night was heavily inspired by jazz album covers. I wanted to feature a lot of the instruments you would typically see in a Jazz band because the Sioux Falls Jazz Society was going to perform. I had them breaking the frames to be freeform and funky like jazz.

Welcome Back Bash
Welcome Back Bash was the first project I made in my second year as a designer at BluePrint. The focus on this project was to replicate certain elements from The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 posters. I also wanted to use the imagery of the cassette and cassette player because the Awesome Mix is such an important part of the movies.

Perler Bead Keychains
For the design for Perler Beads, I thought it would be an engaging concept to recreate famous works of art in beads. I decided to display them in a way similar to an art museum or gallery, with the classic white wall texture behind them.

Other Projects
Here are some of my smaller scale projects I have made at BluePrint. LeadState Fair was a poster for a state fair-themed career fair. Capers: Goes to the Movies was a poster for the auditions to be in Capers. I decided to go with a vintage movie theater sign esthetic. Your Vote Your Voice was a banner for the Students' Association elections. For this project it was mostly sticking to their branding but elevating it enough to comply with the design standards for BluePrint's advertising spaces.
