Frankenstein Book Cover
I originally had intended to make an illustration for the cover. As the project progressed I decided to focus on a typographical cover. I decided to piece the letters together in an unnatural way to mimic the monster. I then used a stitch pattern to frame the title.
Frankenstein Interior
For the interior pages of the book I selected a black letter font to emphasize the older and elegant nature of the gothic horror contents. I paired this with an easy to read serif font for the body text. This font still has a jagged and uneasy nature to it making it a strong thematical and visual pair.
