Coolidge Sylvan Theatre

This project was to design branding for a local historical site. I selected the Coolidge Sylvan Theatre because I really enjoyed the architecture of it and thought it was an underutilized space. With the branding I also developed stationery, apparel, and an app.

For the logos for the Coolidge Sylvan Theatre I chose to use a very structural font and to bring in details from the architecture of the theatre. For the main logo mark I focused on the column lights from around the theatre and to incorporate that into the "I" of Coolidge.

Branding In Use

For the stationery I developed a pattern using the light fixture element from the primary logo. With the apparel I made a version for each of the logos in the system. On the back of the shirts I included a set of concert dates for a hypothetical Summer Concert Series that would take place at the outdoor theatre. For the app I tried to keep it simple and easy to use, focusing on just finding events at the theatre and buying tickets for them.
