Studio Art

One of my two degrees is in Studio Art. It is where I got my start and without it, there is no way I would have a design degree either. I believe my background in studio art has really given me a better understanding of design and helped be develop an established personal style.

Printmaking

Printmaking is my area of specialization. I really had no idea what printmaking was when I started as a printmaking major, but somehow everything worked out because printmaking is certainly my passion. While studying at SDSU I really tried to learn as much about printmaking as possible and attempted to make work in as many different printmaking methods as I could. Mezzotint has started to become my main area of focus within printmaking.

Other Mediums

Although printmaking is my area of specialization, I still like to explore in other mediums. Drawing is something I really enjoy especially adding things like colored pencil and wood stain on top of my pencil drawings. Otherwise I really enjoy working with pen and do a lot of
my sketching for design projects in pen.
